Kaspersky webfilter checks web-sites before they are opened and blocks fishing sites and sites with malicious code. During the checking, webfilter addresses the cloud Kaspersky Security Network service.

After the checking, webfilter either grant access to web-sites, if it was considered safe, or block web-site, if it was considered malicious.

In the service settings you can define proxy cache size for data process, and cloud server response time. Mark “Use proxy” after license activation for webfilter to check the traffic that passes through ICS proxy-server.

In that exact tab you can find license manager. For webfilter to work, the valid license must be purchased.
